My 3 Promises to Ward 1

A 48-Hour Response Guarantee

You will receive a personal response from Priya within 48 hours - whether your concern involves a pothole, bylaw issue or City service.

At the doors across Ward 1, I’ve heard something very simple from residents: “When we reach out to our councillor, we want to know someone is listening.”

Whether it’s a pothole on your street, a bylaw concern, a City service issue, or simply a question you need answered—you shouldn’t be left wondering if your message was received.

That’s why I’m making a clear commitment:

When you contact me as your Ward 1 Councillor, you will receive a personal response from me within 48 hours.

I may not always be able to solve an issue within 48 hours—but I can acknowledge it, listen, tell you what I’m doing about it and keep you informed.

Because behind every email or phone call is a neighbour, a family, a senior, a business owner—someone who deserves to be heard and respected.

That is the kind of councillor I will be.

Accessible. Responsive. Accountable

Quarterly Community Liaison Meetings

Priya will hold an open Ward 1 community meeting every three months to report on progress, hear residents' concerns and explain what happens next.

At the doors across Ward 1, residents have told me they want something that should be simple: a councillor who stays connected after Election Day.
You shouldn’t have to wait until the next election to be heard.
That’s why, as your Ward 1 Councillor, I will hold an open community meeting every three months—a regular opportunity for you to raise concerns, ask questions, hear what progress has been made and understand what happens next.
Whether you’re a parent concerned about traffic, a senior worried about City services, a homeowner watching your taxes, or simply a resident who wants a better neighbourhood—your voice belongs at the table.
I want to represent Ward 1 with you, not just for you.
Show up. Listen. Report back. Stay accountable.

Annual Ward 1 Budget Report Card

Priya will provide a clear, plain-language annual report showing how City funds were invested in Ward 1 and what results were delivered.

At the doors across Ward 1, I hear residents asking an important question:

“We pay our taxes—but what are we actually getting for them?”

You deserve a clear answer.

That’s why, as your Ward 1 Councillor, I will provide an Annual Ward 1 Budget Report Card showing—in plain language—how City funds were invested in our Ward and what results were delivered.

Roads, parks, recreation, neighbourhood improvements and City services—you deserve to know what was promised, what was spent, what was completed and what still needs attention.

You work hard for your money. When City Hall spends it, your councillor should be able to look you in the eye and account for the results.

For me, fiscal responsibility isn’t only about how we vote on a budget. It’s about reporting back to the people who paid for it.

If you want a councillor who will respect your tax dollars, report back and be accountable for results, I humbly ask for your vote.

Your money. Your Ward. Your right to know.
