Ward 1 is a strong, family-oriented community with beautiful parks and waterfront spaces. Our biggest challenges include affordability, growth, infrastructure, and stronger representation at City Hall.

With 20+ years in IT and global business leadership, I bring experience in managing budgets, solving complex problems, leading teams, and making data-driven decisions.

I created it to give residents a stronger collective voice. It has helped bring neighbors together, raise issues with the city, and create opportunities for the community.

Community service is at the heart of why I’m running. Through organizations like the food bank, DARS, Road Watch, and the Legion, I’ve seen firsthand how much local involvement matters.

The biggest concerns I hear are safer streets, affordability, responsible development, community infrastructure, and accountability at City Hall.

I support responsible growth that includes proper infrastructure, transparency, and meaningful community input while protecting the parks, waterfront, green spaces, and character of our neighborhoods.

I want to strengthen Pickering’s commercial tax base, support local businesses, create good local jobs, and ensure every public dollar is spent responsibly.

I’ve been impressed by how engaged Ward 1 residents are. People want to be heard, and they want a Councillor who genuinely listens and follows through.

Your Councillor makes decisions about your streets, parks, community spaces, and tax dollars. Ward 1 needs a strong voice at the table.

A morning walk along the waterfront, coffee at a local business, and time with my two daughters.

The waterfront, especially early in the morning, and Esplanade Park. Anywhere with a great view of the lake reminds me why protecting our green spaces matters.

I came to Canada over 18 years ago with a dream, and it quickly became home. Both of my daughters were born here, and from the very beginning, I believed that being part of a community means giving back to it. Canada gave my family a foundation, and Ward 1 gave us a place to call home. Running for Council isn’t a career move for me — it’s a continuation of my commitment to serve and help build a safer, more affordable, and stronger Ward 1 for our children and future generations.
